Delete account

Who this is for

This process is for FishDay users who want to close their account, stop using the service, and remove or anonymise personal data associated with that account.

How to delete your account

You can delete your account yourself, in the app or on the website, from Settings. Deletion is permanent, so we ask you to confirm your email address and password first.

1. Sign in to FishDay and open Settings.
2. Tap "Delete account" and confirm your email address and password.
3. If you cannot sign in, email admin@fishday.pro from the account's address and we will delete it for you.

What we delete or anonymise

After verification, we delete or anonymise account data that is no longer needed to provide the service.

• Account profile details such as name and email address.
• Saved fishing locations, best days, notes, forecasts, and other user-generated content connected to the account.
• App preferences, notification tokens, and similar account settings.

What may be retained

Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or payment compliance purposes.

• Payment, subscription, invoice, and tax records handled by our payment providers or required by law.
• Security logs, backups, and abuse-prevention records for a limited period.
• Aggregated or anonymised analytics that no longer identify you.

Processing time

Deleting from Settings happens immediately — your data is removed the moment you confirm. Email requests are verified and completed within 30 days; if we need more information to confirm the account, we will contact you by email.
